Speck-tacular Calves!!
These are our most recent additions at Lake Country Longhorns. Urbanna, Saluda, and Chesapeake are all sired by Super Fielder- our herd sire out of Super Bowl and Field of Dreams. Wachapreague was sired by King Whisper, a great bull owned by Bill Derey of Blackstone, Va. King Whisper has produced several cows with over 70 inches of horn, and Wachapreague certainly has a pedigree with the potential to add to that list.

Urbanna was born in June to Shadow Applause, a Shadow daughter. Her full sister is Appalachia, shown on our home page.

Wachapreague was born in July to Super Special, a Super Bowl daughter with an outstanding pedigree. Combining her pedigree with King Whisper-a known producer of 70 inch cows--gives Wachapreague all the tools she needs to be an all-star!

Born the last day of August, Saluda is the second heifer out of KCCI Black Chick and Super Fielder. She strongly resembles her sister, Chickahominy.This picture was taken at one day old.

Chesapeake was born the last week of August to 4Winds Denim and Diamonds-the first bull we've had from her. He looks like his sire--Super Fielder.
